Tragedy struck a Danville family last weekend, as a 10-year-old girl drowned Saturday in the family’s backyard swimming pool. Danville Police Lt. Mark Williams said dispatchers received a call at 2:40 p.m. from a distraught woman in the first block of Sky Terrace on the town’s west side.
